We look after gardens on a fortnightly or monthly visit through the growing season, and a lighter touch in winter when there is less to cut and more to clear. A typical visit is the lawn, the edges, weeding the beds we have agreed, blowing or sweeping paths, and a check of anything that is about to become a bigger job — a post moving, a shrub blocking the gate.
The gardens that suit this are ordinary Norfolk ones: a lawn, a hedge, a few beds, perhaps a new-build plot that was handed over as turf and bark. If you want a full border renovation, that is a makeover and it gets its own quote. Mixing the two is how maintenance visits overrun and everyone feels short-changed.
What is included
- Mowing and strimming
- Edging lawns against paths and beds
- Weeding agreed borders and sweeping hard surfaces
- Hedge trimming on the schedule we agree, not as a surprise
- A note if something needs a separate quote — fencing, turf, jet washing
- Green waste removed when that is part of the price
Worth knowing
- We group visits by area. A one-off in a village we already pass is easy. A weekly mow an hour from the rest of the round often is not, and we will say so.
- Holiday lets and rental turnarounds can be booked as a one-off tidy. Tell us the date that matters.
- We do not do indoor cleaning, gutter vacuuming from the roof, or general house clearance.
How it usually runs
01
Walk it once
We agree what a normal visit includes, and what would be extra.
02
Pick a rhythm
Fortnightly in May and June is a different garden from monthly. Shade and lawn size decide it more than a package name.
03
Keep the list stable
If you want the hedge added every other visit, we change the price rather than quietly dropping the weeding.
Questions
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. We agree the visit and the price. If you want to stop, say so. If we need to change a day because of weather, we ring.
What happens in winter?
Lawns often do not need cutting. Leaves, edges and a winter tidy might. Some gardens pause from December to February. We would rather pause than invoice for a visit with nothing to do.
Can you start this month?
Often, if your village sits near gardens we already visit. Ring with the town. A full round in a new direction may wait until we can batch the travel.
We cover Norwich and the Norfolk towns on the areas we cover page. If the garden is further out, ring and ask — the answer depends on the size of the job.
